BIG Gravel Grind – July 6 2025

Riders have the option to select either a 40K or 80K route that highlights the stunning gravel roads and paths of Lambton County. Both routes kick off and wrap up at the Legacy Recreation Centre situated in Thedford, Ontario. This event embraces a non-competitive spirit, encouraging riders to fully enjoy the experience. Participants are welcome to pause at designated fuel stations, regroup, and connect with friends and fellow cyclists. Each distance comes with an array of benefits: all participants will receive event jerseys, a swag bag, bike assistance throughout the ride, well-marked routes, complimentary food and drinks at the finish line, and the option to purchase beer. To participate, riders must be at least 15 years of age.

Jamie Hastings was an iconic figure of Sarnia community. Known for his warmhearted nature and infectious smile, Jamie Hastings stood out; his life will forever remain remembered with fondness by both coworkers and friends alike.

Jamie loved motorbikes not just as a hobby but as part of who he was as an individual, reflecting his adventurous side and personal values. This carried over into cycling where Jamie was a member of the local cycling club, ‘The Husky Hustle’. Friends and family remember his kindness and generosity when helping out other individuals; his impact was truly felt throughout his community with simple acts of kindness that brought positivity.
